Just back from vacation, creating RPM version of 0.5.3 now.
But a small question first:
In the discussion after 0.5.2 someone mentioned the use of 
-DSUPPORT_OLD_PLUGIN_VERSIONS=1. Do I still need to use this make argument when compiling 
0.5.3?

The README does not mention this flag.
