Ok, but I was interested in practical problems related to the OLSR
implementation.. but I suppose there are no problems if the MTU is
increased.. BTW, it's just a matter of adding 20 bytes of additional
IP header.. so, increasing the MTU of 20 bytes does not change almost
anything (from the performance point of view): if the nodes are
sending small packets, they will send small packets+20bytes, while if
they are sending maximum sized packets they will send maximum sized +
20bytes packets.. I was looking at the problem from the unaware-user
point of view, which simply wants to connect to a node of the mesh and
start using the Internet access, without needing to decrease the MTU
by 20bytes..
