Is sends beacons, other nodes listen to beacons with same SSID (name of your ad hoc network) and joint it. But when multiple networks are started in isolation, the merge of the ad hoc networks may fail. Therefore it is better to manually configure the BSSID on all nodes, this helps merging the networks a lot.</div><div><br></div><div>Please send output of ip, iwconfig etc private. You better not expose such in public.</div><div><br></div><div>Anyway, we needed to update CM to get IBSS running on GS4A. We'll post somewhere else (SPAN, Serval, ! olsrd). <li>my "pinging" problem is strange, because if i create a new adhoc network from another SGS4-handset then again it can see and ping all the Nexus-tablets that are connected and can't see the other SGS4-handsets. </li>

<li>if the Wi-Fi is turned off from the SGS4 (the establish-er) , the Nexus-tablets can still see each other and OLSRD can run normally.</li><li>OLSRD configuration file that is running in all the handset is the same</li>
<li>OLSRD is running normally in all the devices that can see and ping each other </li><li>which means it runs every time (as long as the Wi-Fi doesn't restart) between the SGS4 (adhoc establish-er) and the Nexus-tablets but does not work between the SGS4-handset themselves </li>

is transmitted over the air and what is not.<br>

I would suggest not running the routing protocol until you have fixed<br>
the link issue, because it complicated debugging the situation. Check<br>
for the easy things first (ip addresses, netmasks, wifi passwords)...<br>
