imho i don´t think the new text is more unambiguous as the old,..

in both texts i do not read that the dns server has to be on the node/ip that announces it,..

furthermore i do not see a reason why the dns has to be on the node itself, as if the node does an hna aswell the dns can be anywhere behind it i guess,..

Well, now that I know the answer, when I read the README again, I feel
like I should have known it right away. So I cannot really point my
finger to anything that is missing. However, I would rephrase this:

PlParam "dns-server" "IP.ADDR"
anounce that this IP has a full (upstream) DNS server. if
IP.ADDR is not specified (""), the main address is used.
nodes which don't know a nameserver will automatically use
this nameserver.

like this:

PlParam "dns-server" "IP.ADDR"
anounce that this node has a full (upstream) DNS server,
accessible at IP.ADDR. if IP.ADDR is not specified (""), the
main address is used. nodes which don't know a nameserver will
automatically use this nameserver.

I believe that this wording makes it unambiguous that a node can only
announce itself as a DNS server.

Regards,
