4.0 and logging at the<br>receiver end at the same time. The task is to calculate the routing<br>overhead due to OLSR. I already have an idea of the OLSR control<br>messages and just want to confirm the BMF overhead as it encapsulates

Yes, you're perfectly right. BMF encapsulates in UDP, and adds an 8-byte BMF<br>header. After that header there is the IP-header of the original packet. So<br>in all, 36 bytes are added.<br><br>See also chapter 10 of the README_BMF.txt file.
