Hi everyone,
I'm currently studying the OLSR code and I read about the bug in the djikstra code so that the TC_REDUNDANCY is to be set to 2 (the code talks about the 0.5.6 version, I'm currently using 0.6.1 but I assume the bug is still there). I read here (http://www.olsr.org/docs/report_html/node53.html) this sentence: "If all nodes in a MANET has TC_REDUNDANCY set to 2, then all symmetric links in that network will be announced to all nodes. This means that all nodes, not just the nodes selected as MPRs, will generate TC messages". Those docs are really outdated, but if it's still like that, it means that, as TC_REDUNDANCY values different from 2 are forbidden, all nodes will always generate TC message?
Another doubt is about my test network configuration: I have an ethernet test network. If I don't have any two hop neighbor, does the MPR computation takes place only if I set the willingness to 7 (WILL_ALWAYS)? It looks like that in the code, where if the 2-hop neighbor table is empty then it will skip the computation.
Thank you very much for your help
